Hoping for rain tomorrow. Overnight was hot very early this morning over 20c. Expected 30+ today.

Looks impossible for @Cleoriff today. 

Not going out seems best.

It was 23c when I got up @TallTrees. Expected 39c-40c later in the day and then much cooler tomorrow.

Ventured into the Solent yesterday at 6pm... Just a little, anyway 🏊 more a paddle than a swim...

24degC, bright sunshine already.

Not pleasant! Too hot during the day and didn't feel like it cooled at all at night.
Got to go into the office today as well - oh the joy - for the penultimate time.

The drive to and from the office wasn't too bad, and the time there was also ok.

Walking to get lunch felt like being in a sauna with someone blowing me with a hair dryer!

Drive home and the external temperature was being reported as 41/42degC.

Not much better at home...

It has been brutal here. 

Trying to thunder now dark grey but very hot no breeze. 

Breathing in hot air horrible. 

Hope @Cleoriff is surviving this
