Must have been a computer the size of a house! Yes, we.ve come a long way and I do wonder just how far we will have got by 2050 (not that I'll be around but I do wonder....)

Thank you @Bambino for posting. I can remember when a local large factory rented out their computer time / room / equipment / expertise to other companies ... & ... yes @jonsie it was a 2-storeyed building - on the go 24 / 7 ... when I got to work for the company as clerical support to Tube Division Marketing the space was taken up by computer(s) using punch cards = long time ago, I wasn't even married then
