Warm weather: love it or loathe it?

While I like the Sun, it seems that it often brings with it that horrible hot sticky atmosphere which is uncomfortable.

However, I know some like it.

So do you like or loathe such weather?

I love the sun. We don't get enough of it in this country so I always try and make the most of it.

We've had 2 days of sun now so I am waiting for the health "expert" warnings saying to stay hydrated and look out for the enderly, and the water companies banning hosepipe usage joy

Thanks

I'm a big fan of the summer evenings, and the days are much better than grey skies too as long as there's a little breeze and some ice cream involved rainbow

@Cleoriff I hope you took care of your lawn yesterday, today will be too hot to do garden work (in London at least)!

Fingers crossed your water is back by now @jonsie, so you can enjoy these lovely few days of sun as well.

The lawn was done yesterday @EmilieT. My 3 cats can now walk across it without disappearing joy

I have been out early this morning to do some pruning before it hits 28c.

I love it...Apparently the heat is coming from Portugal and I thank god for it.

It's 23° and sunny in London and I'm happy. Top temp today is forecast at 28°, which, if the humidity is not too high, is just bearable for me. It's not the high temp but high humidity that kills me.

grin I'll have to send my thanks to someone I know who lives in Portugal, for sending the warmth our way! Just had a quick walk outside during lunchtime and I think I might have got tanned a little bit. Maybe I'm just imagining it. grin

I'm in Warwick and the MetOffice are reporting 24° but the BBC are slightly more optimistic and are reporting 25° laughing

Thanks
