Cleoriff, I'm no gardener, but have done a fair bit of flower arranging in my time 

..... & when married my husband was (& still is, as far as I'm aware) a landscape architect ..... I left him to it in the garden department, but drew the line at an ornamental fish pond when my son was nobutt a toddler 

the flower looks of a lily-type (I'm sure you know that) ..... alstromeria = for the uninitiated, is a sort of a poor mans tiger lily (yes, I did use a Big Cat word) 

but, I don't think the leaves match up

not definitely going into any sort of religious thing, BUT the flower ladies at a local church will always be grateful for any sort of greenery ..... yes, cut flowers cost GBP, but foliage, well you can't do without it & you need lots of it

Yeah I think we need to drown our sorrows and roll our eyes at the writers of this first Dr Who episode. 😞
