Humour him, @Anonymous, it's all a bit of harmless fun. 🤣

The funniest answer, even if completely wrong, could raise a smile - and we all need them these days. Mexican Wave

It may just be the one answer that no one knows Jane.

Very good point @jonsie .

@Anonymous [Jane] did that in two earlier quizzes when she got an answer others didn`t.

THE ANSWERS:

Q1 [SPORT] Where, in America, is the F.U.N. Stadium [city and State] ?

A1: Houston, Texas

Q2 [MUSIC] Which band, with The Beach Boys, had a UK Top 30 hit in 1996 with "Fun, Fun, Fun"?

A2: Status Quo

Q3 [LITERATURE] In which decade was the comic "Fun" sold in London ?

A3: This was the hardest question. The answer is NOT 1930s when comic books first appeared in USA; nor 1950s and 1960s when such as "Film Fun" and "Film Annual" appeared in UK; not 1990s when some older comics re-appeared and new ones appeared in UK.

The correct answer is 1880s. Fun was satirical [similar to Punch] but with articles and cartoon strip similar to Hotspur in 1950s. Fun became the centre of controversy in 1888 when it published a cartoon strip suggesting Jack the Ripper was a Kensington doctor. Further to this, a renown London psychologist said the cartoon strip was true, resulting in Scotland Yard investigating and dismissed the theory. source: Metropolitan Police "Jack the Ripper" files at National Archive, Kew. I have a copy of the cartoon, purchased when research a book on Jack the Ripper.

Q4 [TV] What was the title of the first episode of Ch4 Comic Strip Presents, featuring "lashings of ginger beer"?

A4: Five Go Mad In Dorset

Q5 [FILM] What was the name of the character played by Stanley Holloway in the Ealing Comedy "Passport To Pimlico" [which incidentally is my - Mi-Amigo`s - favourite film] ?

A5: Arthur Pemberton

Q6 [PLACES] Where, in America, is the National Comedy Hall of Fame [town and State] ?

A6: Holiday, Florida

Q7 [HISTORY] The Ancient Greeks believed the human body contained four humours. Three were - blood, yellow bile and black bile. What was the fourth humour?

A7: phlegm

Q8 [MEDICINE] Aqueous and vitreous humours are in chambers in which part of the human body ?

A8: the eye
