Reports Warrington band killed in Swedish crash

Warrington band Viola Beach are thought to have been killed in a car crash in Sweden.

The victims, believed to be men aged between 19 and 35, died after their car crashed into a barrier then plunged 80ft into the water in Sweden.

I guess it is some small consolation for them, at least their music lives on. I've never lost a child and can only presume to know their heartbreak and god forbid I ever find out.

I think it's a wonderful gesture by fans and musicians alike. It's their hard work, campaign and effort that achieved this for this young group. They were booked to play at the Reading festival this August.....
