Video-gaming: What's your favourite ever console?

Hi guys,

Its a big time at the moment for gaming. E3 has just ended and Gamescom is just around the corner. We thought we'd open up a few fun discussions on the subject.

We're starting off with what is your favourite ever gaming console?

Do you prefer hand-held devices? Was the look of the console an aspect that grabbed you? Is Pong as far as gaming goes for you?

For me, it will always be (in my view at least) the original PlayStation. It was the console that opened my eyes to the video gaming world and Crash Bandicoot was my first ever game

I have to say I was a very big fan of the Sega Megadrive and Sony's Dreamcast consoles, however I own a PS3 now and have no plans to update that

The DreamCast was very underrated I think @Anonymous

Either master system, game gear, mega drive, mega cd, Saturn or dreamcast , yes.

The Mega Drive gave me many happy memories. Has anyone owned a PS Vita? I think they're brilliant.
