Upgrade to iphone

Really can't believe the advice I was given by an o2 adviser tonight when i foned back as advised by them to to upgrade to iphones for myself and my partner. They told me three weeks ago that the price should be down by the time i foned back [ 4s] I have had two fones on contract for 3 fones on contract for 15 years and lately the mast where I live is down for days at a time. The only offer she could give me was only £20.00 cheaper than the equivalent

iphone 5.[16g]. She then told me i would be better going to carphone warehouse and taking out a new contract! So much for customer care and loyalty !

There have been serious stock issues with few or no deliveries from Apple:

CPW have been carrying some stock for O2, and you can upgrade there if they have them.

Perhaps they were telling you as it may be quicker to get from Carphone Warehouse then O2.  If you order online or over the phone the phone comes from Carphone Warehouse.  Not sure how long for, they were just being used to send stock for O2 to cover the launch, but loads of people still waiting.  Click the link that Perksie posted and it shows you all the stories etc from pre-launch until now ...
