Uninstall Facebook to speed up Android phones

This doesn't surprise me at all tbh. There seems to be a 40Mb update every other day and god knows what crap it leaves behind. I noticed a difference on the new phone that it seemed slower after setting it up once I installed Facebook.

Plus, the Facebook mobile site is just as good, if not better.

I use it on my laptop not on my phone nowadays. ..... Very intrusive..

A new not needed non noticeable update every 2-3 days, the last one kept crashing the app

Uninstall it and run it in whichever browser you use on your phone. All it does is use up resources and battery. One less app to track you as well, which I'm sure FB does incessantly.

You may (or not) be surprised to know that currently, the FB app on Android is 235mb !

That's huge! I certainly wouldn't want an app hogging all that space.

To be honest I use it a lot, well, messanger mostly but it isn't really giving me problems on any device and they work fast enough for my needs.

Yes I also use messenger a fair amount on my phone....but I never actually open FB.. just messenger as they are set up as two different apps (phone anyway)
