Tourists are warned to stay in their hotel. Turkey has been a volatile country for a couple of years. I have a few Turkish friends here and they are ready to fly home to join in the protests against the government. What is wrong with these people who think the only answer is violence?

Makes sense. It's a war zone now.
Govts need to concentrate on working on getting travellers out of the country and back to their homes.

No doubt it will have to be military flights again at a cost to the British public. I don't blame the holiday companies but with things as they are over there they need to be liable to a certain degree and contribute to the evacuation.

Although these airports are in the south I believe.....hundreds of miles from the troubles.......those on holiday on the south coast of Turkey probably don't know anything if they haven't seen TV
