Oops. Change of flight, instead of FRA to SFO (Frankfurt to San Francisco) , go FRA - DUB, DUB - SFO (ie, via Dublin).

Wonder if UK is going to stamp on people going from Europe to USA via Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow (for example)....

Strange isn't is how the UK/Ireland aren't banned yet. Then again, I'm guessing there might be some background stuff going on about point of origin and onward travel to stop people trying to get around it. Oh someone just pointed out on the BBC that most of Europe is in the Schengen area whilst the UK/Ireland isn't. 

Wait a couple of weeks and the only thing flying will be cargo.
