Remember the first time you bought a smartphone and you wanted to download cool apps like Angry Birds? They are so addictive that one can easily spend hours and hours…
I'm a little curious, hence wants to know if the trends have slightly changed this year? Are we using apps which have capabilities like location based, NFC or we just love the Social Networking ones? What are the top 5 Apps on your mobile device(s)?

So it looks like, GPS/Sat Nav ones are quite popular these days... defo handy, I'd say!
Yes and with live traffic save a lot of hastle in jams.
But I like ignition as I can access my pc whilst in mcdonalds etc over wifi and even raise invoices and purchase orders in sage accounts package and email them from the pc even when miles away from the office

that sounds like a clever app (similar to the other vpn ones), think I might give it a try!
Cheers for that Adam

Always a pleasure Toby
Tagesschau is THE German news on TV and they have an app (Which some big papers (as BILD) wanted to forbid).
And FritzBox is a big router-seller here. With that app you can call via wifi at home and get the calls from your landline on the cell

The apps I use the most are:
Angry Birds ( Seasons etc)
BBC News
Notes
Also Sky Sports News, Shazam, and LED Light! And I am also with Leonard for the Clock!
None of those are in any order though. But also on the iPad I would include SkyGo and iPlayer!

Sometimes, yes. I use Shazam for the radio or tv adverts etc. It is a great app for finding out what songs are. I am always on the lookout for new music

Yea, same here. I was living in Antwerp before moving to the UK and would always hear songs I had never heard before. Moving them from Shazam into a radio station on Spotify was my favorite way of getting in touch with new stuff.
Have you ever tried SoundHound, by the way?

I downloaded it, but I don't think I used it. Is it better than Shazam?
