Lee Pearson also got gold in the Equestrian event. In fact there have been 5 golds in total today Swimming and the Cycling in Velodrome

The Paralympians are doing extremely well. Their medal table so far is exceeding the Olympics in July.
We are 2nd in the medal table with 26 gold, 20 silver and 22 bronze.
The Equestrian team won gold again today along with the female archery contestant. Jonny Peacock had to be content with bronze.

Excellent news! Sarah Storey wins her 3rd gold in these games making her the most successful paralympian ever.
Also and in terrible lashing rain, Ben Watson and Fin Graham won gold and silver in their cycling road race.
The medal table for THIS team GB is astounding. We are 2nd with 90 medals in total 32 gold, 26 silver and 32 bronze.
Just brilliant.
