Thursday Quiz 4 April 2019

Hi all to all the Thursday Quizzers.

The Thursday Quiz is open to all members of the Community, so whether you are one of the regulars, a member who has not entered a previous Thursday Quiz, or one of our new members, you are all welcome to come and join in.

This Thursday Quiz - for 4 April - will be three questions on characters.

The Quiz will be posted around 10pm tonight - Wed 3 April - and be open until 12 noon Friday 5 April.

Entries can be submitted to this week`s Thursday Quiz from when it is opened.

Hope as many as possible will join us.

If you have questions about the Thursday Quiz, please ask and I`ll post an answer

Yeh. Slight change to previous Thursday Quizzes.

Once the Thursday Quiz, with the three questions, is up, then it will be open and the first set of answers can be posted.

Please note that each member will be allowed to submit two sets of answers - in separate posts - during the time of the quiz, but, in fairness to other members, the member`s second set of answers cannot be posted until after at least one other member has posted their set of answers [as in the word search game].

This will be included with the RULES when the quiz is posted.

THURSDAY QUIZ for 4 April 2019

                                                         CHARACTERS

Q1 What colour was Frankenstein`s monster in Mary Shelly`s book Frankenstein ?

Q2 What colour were Dorothy`s shoes in L Frank Baum`s book The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz ?

Q3 What kind of animal was Ratty in Kenneth Grahame`s book The Wind In The Willows ?

RULES:

No googling, wiki, social media, website seaches for the answers.

Please answer all three questions in the same post as - Q1 = [answer]; Q2 = [answer]; Q3 = [answer].

If you do not know the answer to any question, please say Q? = [don`t know]

This Thursday Quiz is now open and you may now submit your first set of answers.

The Quiz will remain open until 12 noon on Friday 5 April 2019

You may submit two separate posts, each with a set of answers, during the time of this Thursday Quiz,

but you cannot submit your second post until at least one other member has posted their first set of answers.

You may submit one post with one, two, or three answers as given by another member but must credit the member - e.g. "I agree with.... answer to Q2 is ..... "

The results and answers will be given after 1pm on Friday 5 April 2019.

Incorrect answers will receive the * klaxon * .  Correct answers will be awarded

Any interesting facts - or amusing comments - in reply to any question are welcomed

Q1 Frankensteins monster had Yellow skin

Q2 Colour of shoes =Silver (in the book) Edited to add, they made them red in the film to try technicolour!

Q3 Ratty was a Water Vole

Q2 Dorothy shoes were silver in the book, and

Q3 Ratty was a Water Vole.

In agreement with anyone else who answered the same:
Q1 - Yellow
Q2 - Silver
Q3 - Water Vole

I'm pretty clueless about all of these, except maybe the first one ... but I'll have a go anyway

1 - Yellow 

2 - Red

3 - A rat
