Some news from Ofcom today regarding the proposed merger. They appear to be dead against the idea as it would bring the amount of providers down one whereas the BT/EE was just a change of ownership.

I hate the way Three seem to be going lately.... more expensive by the day!

o2 seem to be investing in their network which is nice to see ; having NO 3G in my area previously to now really fast 4G is good to see!

I'm a Three and an O2 customer. Personally, I would prefer the merger didn't happen. I like Three the way it is. Their prices are no higher than any other provider, and as far as I know, they are the only provider that offers roaming abroad for no extra charge (and it works too). If the O2 merger went ahead, I'm fearful that perk would disappear.
