As part of the #o2surprise that I received last week, there was a jar of smiles. Many were keen to see what would come out of the jar each day, so here are the ones so far!

The one that I picked out on Friday was "If you want to see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain".

This morning I picked out "Relax and reflect. A bad day doesn't mean it's a bad life".

I didn't know this but absolutely awful to hear of the trolling and abuse aimed at Capt Tom and his family whilst he was in hospital and since he died.

All aimed at his trip to Barbados.

I know I expressed my thoughts on this yesterday but would never resort to this level of vile abuse. People really are sick.

Piers Morgan had a few choice words to say to these sick people on Good Morning Britain. He condemned them and so did the PM

While I think the trip would have been ill advised I get why they did it (last holiday together, and paid for).
The reaction by some is just disgusting and action should be taken so that there is some consequence for it.

I see both sides of this

Yes, a great man, not just for raising a vast amount of money but for an amazing life too.

I still think the holiday was completely wrong but his family was to blame in my opinion
