As part of the #o2surprise that I received last week, there was a jar of smiles. Many were keen to see what would come out of the jar each day, so here are the ones so far!

The one that I picked out on Friday was "If you want to see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain".

This morning I picked out "Relax and reflect. A bad day doesn't mean it's a bad life".

Ah, well, Admiral Grace Hopper certainly thought so... and as a mathematician and pioneer computer scientist, she probably meant  “Ask forgiveness, not permission” to mean:

Do the right thing within the organization, whether or not they know it, so you help the people that you work for.

Really loved him @pgn. He made fun of himself and religion and always finished by saying :

Good Night. Thank You. And May Your God go with you.

One of the funniest men of his era.

I too remember Dave Allen - very funny man ....... the way he did sketches & took the P!$$ out of the catholic church was only one of the elements of his very successful tv show x

In the days of pre-recording TV we made sure we were in for the start of the show
