Thought of the day

As part of the #o2surprise that I received last week, there was a jar of smiles. Many were keen to see what would come out of the jar each day, so here are the ones so far!

The one that I picked out on Friday was "If you want to see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain".

This morning I picked out "Relax and reflect. A bad day doesn't mean it's a bad life".

@gmarkj read your post off my phone earlier in the day whilst out and about in town.

There is an old thread somewhere on Off Topic about sayings and I remember proverbs taught in form 4A Junior school like for example: 'A Cat may Look at a King' ... + ... Look before you Leap etc. I remember things from way back in my life like my 1st day at Infant school ... but ... what I did the day before yesterday, well I would have to look at my phone calendar. I did for a time use a pen & paper dual system, but I have lost a lot of dexterity in both hands, so far easier to use my ring finger on my right hand whilst cradling the phone in my left. The youngsters who use 2 thumbs on the phone very fast ?!

Back on topic:

Things come in 3's (like London red busses) ... ... ... I broke the toaster last night ... woke up to the fridge having defrosted itself and now doesn't work ... what is going to happen overnight tonight ? ha ha ha !
