So I decided to start watching again now that Louis Walsh is gone, love him though I did, and there are 3 new judges. Interesting we have Mr and Mrs Robbie Williams. Why? Anyway hopefully with Louis gone, we'll no longer see the weird and wonderful acts he put through which were truly dreadful. Honey G anyone!

So who's watching and what do you think of the acts put through so far? A couple were amazing, I thought.

So I've now watched my recording of X-Factor and I'm sort of happy and then, again not very happy at all. Some of the above choices were inspired, and others were a case of WTF.

I'm happy with Louis' choices, as I can sorta see what he was thinking when he made his picks.

As for Ayda, I'm with @Cleoriff on the choice of Ola over Louise. He's a one-trick pony who is trying to be the next Bob Marley and hasn't suceeded, in my book anyway. Yes, his music makes you want to dance but he's no singer and I think he'll come a cropper if he attempts any other genre of music. Assuming, of course, he's capable of any other genre  of music. And I doubt there's that big a market for his sort of music either. Whereas Louise, on the other hand, has a depth to her voice that means different genres of music won't phase her. I think she has a voice that could sing anything. Shame she hasn't gone through.

I'm also unsure about Janice, to be honest. I think the chap Ayda let go for Danny was a better fit than Janice and had a better singing voice. That's my thoughts anyway, for what it's worth.

Now, bring on the live shows when we see what they've really got Bouncy

So stupid on Cowell's part to have them filmed in Business Class for a short time and then have them moved to Economy. He should have known someone would give the game away; if not the contestants themselves, then one of the other passengers.

So silly really who cares whether they fly Business or Economy apart from the contestants themselves?!

Gutted about that. Considering she had Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis as her co judges.

That Ola is a one trick pony....Evil

It'll be fun to see how long Ola lasts. I say not that long, unless there's a large number of calypso lovers in the UK.

A very good opening to the live shows.

Top of the pops, for me, Scarlett, the LMA Choir, (who sang my favourite song from the Lion King) Danny (whose voice I love), Bella who's growing on me. Good song choice and good singing voice and United 5. Good song choice again  and they are good vocally, individually and as a group. The best song choice I thought was Shan's and she sang it beautifully and with heart.

Giovanni may be good on stage in the West End but he didn't bring it tonight. Wasn't impressed.

Brendan okay but I don't think much about his voice or his song choice. Same applies to Armstrong who, again, didn't rock my boat!

Oh dear, Olatunji; did an original song which didn't do anything for me. No real singing voice either. Can't see him lasting long.

And did someone drop out or can someone not count? Mention was made of 15 acts. Surely it should be 16, 4 each for the 4 judges.

Now on to the results shows and who's going home.

So caught up with this first live show.

I loved LMA choir except for the fact one singer (the lass with the long blonde hair) performed most of the song. The others tended to be backing her.

Scarlett was brilliant and so were Shan and Danny

I thought Misunderstood gave a good performance.

Not loving the rap artists. Acacia and Aaliyah and though Bella was better than those two, I wasn't blown away.

Ola....I hope he gets voted out.

People keep going on about Brendans voice? I think he was weak.

Dalton chose the wrong song in my opinion. He performs better than that normally.

Not keen on Giovanni. Very predictable.

I haven't covered everyone, just those who impressed and those who didn't. joy

As for the 15? I counted 16 who performed?

Apparently a double eviction tonight?
