So here we go. The maybes:

Q5 [music]: What was the original title of The Kink`s song, before the lyrics and title were changed before release to "Waterloo Sunset"?

Because @Mi-Amigo can be a sneaky tricksie quizmaster 👌, with a love for all things Beatles🐞, I think the answer here is "Liverpool Sunset" Dunno why, despite the lyrics referencing lovers, the Thames and Waterloo Station.

And the final question and answer, a complete stab in the dark (Scrabble or Chinese Chequers in my childhood, not Cluedo, alas)... (so X-men rather than Silver Thinker, @Cleoriff, I suspect, as @jonsie pointed out 🤣)

Q3 [games]: Where does the secret passage from the Lounge lead to in Waddington`s Cluedo in the 1960s edition?

The Conservatory.

That's it from me, thanks for your patience!

Do your worst, @Mi-AmigoLOL

The results - in the order in which @pgn answered the six questions:

Q4 [science]: Which two letters form the chemical symbol for mercury?
A4: Simple one, as all chemical elements have a unique one- or two-letter IUPAC symbol, the first always capitalised, the second, if a second letter is used for that element, always in lower case:
Hg - from the Greek for Mercury: hydrargyrum.
- correct = awarded star

Q2 [words]: What is an abomasum?
A2: It's the 4th, I think, stomach of any ruminant, eg, a cow. The 3rd is the omasum. Can't remember the other two - but it's what makes ruminants so successful at using grass as their food source (and the other two stomach chambers are great at generating the greenhouse gases in such volumes that makes us wonder if perhaps rearing cattle for food is such a wise idea after all).
- correct = awarded star

Q6 [tv sitcom]: Who, according to the lyrics of the title song of TV sitcom "Only Fools And Horses" did Derek "Del Boy" Trotter get "Some Trevor Francis tracksuits" from ?

A6: With this theme rolling around my head most of the day, the answer is:

"From a mush in Shepherd's Bush."

- correct = awarded star

Q1 [history]: Who was the youngest person to assume the office of President of the United States of America?

A1: This is a real headscratcher - I first thought Clinton... Then I thought Obama...  Then Kennedy... And I figured it had to be a bit further back, so I am going to take a stab at...

Theodore Roosevelt, who assumed the presidency from McKinley died as a result of shotgun injuries.

- Theodore Roosevelt was aged 42 years 322 days when he assumed the presidency following the assassination of William McKinley. JFK was the youngest to be elected - aged 43 years 163 days.

- correct = awarded star

Q5 [music]: What was the original title of The Kink`s song, before the lyrics and title were changed before release to "Waterloo Sunset"?

A5: Because @Mi-Amigo can be a sneaky tricksie quizmaster 👌, with a love for all things Beatles🐞, I think the answer here is "Liverpool Sunset" Dunno why, despite the lyrics referencing lovers, the Thames and Waterloo Station.

- Ray Davis of The Kinks, in an interview with Jade Wright of the Liverpool Echo of 14 May 2010 said:

"Liverpool is my favourite city and the song was originally called "Liverpool Sunset". I was inspired by Merseybeat. I`d fallen in love with Liverpool at that point... so I wrote Liverpool Sunset. Later, it got changed to Waterloo Sunset"...

- correct = awarded star

Q3 [games]: Where does the secret passage from the Lounge lead to in Waddington`s Cluedo in the 1960s edition?

A3: The Conservatory.

- the secret passage from the KITCHEN leads to the STUDY; but the secret passage from the LOUNGE leads to the CONSERVATORY...

- correct = awarded star

@pgn - you have been awarded star star star star star star

and with six star - congratulations @pgn  you are also awarded the Image result for silver thinkerSilver Thinker.

Thank you for being a contestant.

Thanks also to everyone who played along. How did you get on with the questions? Your feedback is welcome...

@pgn

Well deserved.

As you know, I put the questions together over the weekend before Emilie draws the names; and, as she doesn`t know the questions and I don`t know who will be chosen, it is random who gets what questions.

That said, I thought Q1 the US President one was the QI-style one and would be most difficult to answer, as most people say Kennedy. The sneaky, tricky one was Waterloo Sunset, and "yes" it is my love of the city and The Beatles which drew me to choosing it.
