checking on my cat Marvellous Marty the Magnificent = beside me in his pet-bed under the wooden desk 

on which new basic desktop printer will be put = on or around next payday ..... I mean upon the wooden desk not upon the cat  

kicked my old basic Epson printer in frustration many many months ago 

therapeutic for me for about 3 nano-seconds but really, really bad for the printer 

well, let's see if there are many takers for my initial entry into the off-top unofficial world of 'the lounge area'

The grandson is off for a week in Cromer today with his Nan. Not bad really...2 weeks in Mexico with his Mum...2 weeks in Spain with me...and rounds it off with a week in Norfolk...Ah well he gets his GCSE results on the 20th so no doubt needs to recharge his batteries

Talking about Cromer. I asked him this morning how he was going to cope as his Nan didn't have broadband...

So he said...Oh it's ok...I will use 4G...:smileywink:

So he replied...Yes...but I am not with O2. I am with EE and rolls his eyes...cheeky so and so....

I think he will be on the train home after a day or two of that.....

Of course hubby gave him the 'when I was a lad we had to use the red phone box up the road' twaddle...That went down like a lead balloon...

Well the grandson has found some internet access (from a bar /restaurant up the road)

So he is happy for a couple of hours a day.....but...I think it is safe to say he wont be moving to Cromer anytime soon.....

Oh and while I think on....someone is slacking with an update on his temperature check today....

I mean he could be having rain and thunderstorms for all we know....
