RIP Misty Moo 2008-2021
I'll miss her beady eye staring me down because I won't play ball. The vets were fab, they checked her over, told us the worst & then bought her out to the car so we could all say goodbye as they did what they had to. Tougher than any funeral i've been to & it's not even my dog.
Sorry needed to sob (again)

Thanks peeps. We brought her home, buried her & then ordered pizza. (Pizza is a tradition with us after a funeral. We don't have to cook, feel good food & everyone likes it(near enough))
She was a fab pet, always barking whenever the ring doorbell tinkled. Ripped the post out of the letterbox everyday until the final few days, fighting to the very end.
She was my best mates dog that i looked after on weekends, holidays & any other time I could. I didn't think i was a pet person, I think yesterday proved otherwise.

Sounds just right @Anonymous
When I was growing up, we always had dogs and my dad hated cats, so I was just the same.
When I was married we had a whippet, which turned out not for us, as she pined when we were at work. We gave her to my mother in law, who lavished her with all the love and attention she needed.
Later on we had two yorkies from the same litter. They died aged 14. Then my son bought me a kitten. I was ill in bed at the time and all I remember saying was 'I don't like cats'!
That comment went out of the window as I eventually ended up with 6 cats!
Now just have 2. No more for us now. Loved each and every one. Bugsy, who lived to the grand old age of 20 was loved by everyone. Even the neighbours.
