Son will be popping over today to edge my lawns, do the pruning I can't reach and general garden maintenance. I shall be ordering some plants online (as I did last year) I can't be doing with this queuing malarky for garden centres.

(not that it's anywhere near time for planting summer bedding ('don't cast a clout till May is out') ...but it will be good to get them ordered.

He arrived at 10.30. Meant to be here at 10am so the first thing he was greeted with, was me looking at my watch with eyebrows raised. I said 'Good start!! He then hurried out to garden, put his phone on bench arm playing music. Phone dropped from bench cracking the screen. Oh dear, what a shame, more fool him. Twozza.
