Worth a shot wink

That'll do nicely @pgn thank you slight_smile

I have had Calvados and coffee in an outdoor cafe whilst in France many years ago with my now x-husband

Liked it, but I also liked the lifestyle

I became a Happy Camper (x-husband used to be a scout)

Interested in those lidded glasses @pgn why lids?

All to do with "nosing", @TallTrees  - even the famous whisky connoisseur, Michael Jackson (no, not *that* one!), swears by a thin glass with a lid...

The ones we have came along with a bottle of Calvados from a cash&carry near Braunschweig in Germany when we were there one Summer.

You're meant to savour it, not neck it! 🤣

At home I can't face breakfast ... but ... have to eat something to make my morning tablets settle ... usually a banana and a drink of milk (the potassium in the banana is good for my poor digestive system)

The tea at my mum's is far better than I make at home

She uses de-caff Yorkshire tea and whole milk

I use Tetley de-caff and Morrisons long life semi-skimmed milk

Can't get de-caff Yorkshire tea online delivery from Morrisons ... but ... can in store

Can get Arrowroot biscuits online ... but ... not in store

Morrisons delivery van comes from their Keighley store

I don't go into town's Morrisons store since pandemic

Can eat a cooked breakfast outside home @Cleoriff eg Wetherspoons pre coronavirus was good with refillable mugs of tea slight_smile

What would be the point of having a lid on something you're supposed to spit into...? 🤔
