I've not got there yet, I'm still having grave concerns about the whole trip. I've got an appointment with the Ability Centre tomorrow and then I have my stitches out on Frday. I think I was a little optimistic with the date to travel.

We had some good news today.

The grandson, currently in the 2nd year of his University degree, has secured a years placement with Renault starting on June 24th.

As there were many students who applied for this placement, he did well.

Oh....as he is an avid F1 fan, he has been told there will be a possibility of him visiting a F1 circuit and watching a race. Deep Joy...

Thanks both. The UK branch is in Hertfordshire...so he needs to sort out accommodation etc..but very proud Grandma.

Was a student that way (Hertford/Hatfield/Ware) but know some of the surrounding areas as well...
