If @Beenherebefore was still posting he would give his opinion on that one.

Me too. I remember when I joined this forum, not been here long and I was in Spain at the time.

It was late at night and I tentatively joined a conversation with you and @perksie.

It was about someone who posted a weird question with an equally weird way of writing...

I remember crying with laughter at that thread. joy

Those were the days @jonsie kissing_heart

I’m sat here wondering why people start threads, obviously of no interest to themselves, fail to give their own view / perspective, in the hope of gaining popularity or rewards. Thinking

Another one of life’s mysteries!

Actually THIS thread was started a few years ago. It has been split into two since then @Anonymous.

It was very popular and we all used to 'gather here' to chat about anything and everything.

Times change and some of those who were active on here on a daily basis, are no longer members.

On the other hand some people prefer to start new threads rather than post in here.

Sorry if that sounds abrupt, but in it's day this was ONE of the most popular threads on the forum.

I wasn’t pointing at this thread,.. This is one of my favourites. A mish mash of everything by everyone! Every forum should have one!

I think I know the exact thread you are referring to @Anonymous and if @Cleoriff thinks about it, she may also realise which thread you are referring to. Think 'balls' Den.

Oh I do get which one @Glory1.

However, at the time I didn't and the red mist descended.

Although I apologised to @Anonymous for my error, in a way I'm not sorry I was mistaken.

It allowed me to have a real old rant about the 'day the threads were split'.

It was El Fiasco...or better still... 'Fue un verdadero fiasco terrible'

Although we have moved on, like an elephant I never forget. That one, and other subsequent fiascos

Anyway, back on lounge topic, I am now on my second cup of builders tea. It's a dark dull dingy day so I don't expect my mood to improve anytime soon.joy

Although  I am off later to have my nails painted......roflkissing_heart

I sympathise and agree with your rant as I feel exactly the same. It was a totally unnecessary exercise that angered many of the regulars. It made us all feel as if we didn't count.

Okay, also moving on as I've had my mini rant joy

No need for apologies from anyone, except maybe me... for opening a can of worms. I only posted my random thought on here because blissgirl asked if anyone was around. I thought it rude to leave a lady hanging & slapped it down!

Although.. I’m glad I did because I’ve learned a bit more about this place, it’s inhabitants, ex inhabitants  & ex staff too.

Gotta love this place!

Oh yes...we do love it all. The Good The Bad and The Ugly.....

To rephrase the old Animals song " We gotta get out of this Place".

No we haven't actually. We stick around and have a damn good time....joy

You've certainly no need to apologise @Anonymous. Your comment was very much on point and I agreed with it totally.
