Not ignoring your question, as I don't know either why dark comes quicker than light wrt evenings and the seasons...
But - cancellations and Jet2, yeah, does rankle a bit. Ryanair *could*be impacted, but are more likely to get back than the other crowd - fingers crossed! Still, a nice long time to get their apartment back into tip-top shape, seems to be what people here have been doing these past 3 months.🙄

So. Barely light at 7am, although we have blue, cloudy skies now. It's 7c.
Busy week for me coming up, so today I will be watching F1 (particularly as Netflix are filming Mercedes for the 3rd series of Drive to Survive) If I can get over the 'excitement' that's sure to bring, I'll probably remove a few more plants from the garden.

I cant answer the question exactly, but probably has to do with the tilted angle and position of the earth Also earths pathway round the sun.

Probably @Jenny105 . Though more of a hypothetical question really....just seems to rush into winter darkness, v tiptoeing gently into Spring and Summer lightness!
I'm someone who fares better with long naturally light days. I get grumpy when I have to draw the curtains and turn on the lights!

Me too. And when I'm grumpy, the OCD kicks in, and next thing I know I'm dusting the banisters on The Naughty Step
So pleased to hear it's being kept clean @pgn
