Bet he needed quite a few cold beers to get all those jobs ticked off.......thirsty work is ticking off jobs done when it's hot and you're not used to it
Were there any bushes to trim on that list ?

No bushes to trim...it's an apartment!
He did ring me when he was having an evening meal at our favourite restaurant. He told me he had just finished a whole bottle of wine with his meal...That cheered me up no end I can tell you.
Just hoping he doesn't try to climb on the step ladder tonight to clear out the top cupboards....

Apartments can have bushes !!......on the balcony or if on the ground floor, then just outside......in that heat they always need to be kept need and tidy.

Just been outside for a cigarette and it's a lovely evening here with a temperature of 20°C so maybe think about coming to Manchester for your holidays. This hotel is free and all inclusive .....
