Hey you be careful Jane, you really need to eat something. Make some sandwiches to take with you. I want you all to enjoy the day Happy Dance

thank you @jonsie ... it's really kind, understanding & thoughtful for you to think of me considering what you are going through

I had a WONDERFUL day, we all did ... havn't slept at all though ... I can catch up today, I need a quiet day

as I hoped = tucked into a crispy bacon butty with weak milky tea at Skipton train station in my 'finery'

both me & you know me jonsie I can say a close friend B = my official carer as arranged with my GP accompanied me, he is a down to earth gentleman, but a joker ... = ... UNION JACK SOCKS on in honour of the Queens birthday ... I've been bricking it for a while ... he used to be a magician & children's entertainer ...

he looked the biz though ... navy blue suit, out of the packet 10 years old or so blue / white striped shirt + diagonal blue stripe shirt & hankie I bought him 'cos he couldn't find his tie coat hanger ... he asked if he could wear one of his railway ties = NO definitely not

Lots of highlights beginning 5 mins past midnight Wedding Day I saw a shooting star = good luck ... my son Alex joked at the reception afterwards in Gusto's Italian restaurant something about space debris = I joked Trump has pressed the button ... laughter from the 12 of us

I will post some pics later

Discovered O'Neills bar as we were deliberately early = had a lovely cheese & onion toastie with chips with diet pepsi, my escort could not help himself with 2 x halves of Guiness Cheers

Ate my up all my 3 course meal, we chose off the menu

Smoked salmon & marscapone (mixed together) served with lovely bread

Duck with fennel = beautiful, no fat on duck

Tiramisu

water & lemonade

Helped B with the menu ... he was panicking = no soup, pate boring, he doesn't eat pasta or rice ... didn't want to lower himself to eat a pizza ... sooo I ordered for him ... pate was chef made with bread in the event + roast chicken with Italian chips skins on medium sized ...+ various ice creams & sauce for him ... bottle beer 6.8% ... he was alright

We actually jonsie help each other = family 1st he said from the onset & I agree, he is a widower & his eldest daughter lives with him about 15 mins walk from me

The newleyweds will be in Leeds / Bradford airport now ... my x-husband will have taken them ... he was a revelation to me, I didn't recognise him & his partner ... it's been 16 years since I've seen them & they were so kind to me & welcoming ... he, BG looked well, tanned after a holiday in Tenerife

I'll close now jonsie & wish you & Mauy a good day ... keep your pecker up lad xx xx

A little brighter Jane but I'm sure, @viridis can do something a whole lot better with the image. Beautiful dress by the way.

thank you @jonsie ... I look a bit 'spaced out' ... it was just being tired after a very happy day

it's be wonderful if @viridis could do something with the light if he has the time or inclination, I know he is a busy man, but a hero with photography ... the hardware of the drone ... *ahem ahem* I just really really can't believe I've just said that LOL ... please edit out if inappropriate ... I've probably sent little young Lord Viridis III off out to film outside ... truly how's the weather been today where you are?

Weather here is 33°C but in the constant air conditioning it's more like 15°C and it's quite shocking when the nurses come to prod and probe you... their hands are freezing.

thank you @Cleoriff & @Glory1 & @jonsie for your kind comments

it's a 3 piece outfit jonsie, but if it looks to you like a dress that's fine with me slight_smile

the bride wore an Empire line floor length dress with a satin wrap held under just the right amout of cleavage with a brooch ... claret colour ... I'd like to know what the top of the dress-line was like, what bodice was visible looked like claret 2-toned with a darker shade of claret = like machine embroidery ... full garnet jewelry with yellow gold to match ... the tennis bracelet was really beautiful ... no titanium friendship rings, a beautiful yellow gold, princess cut garnet in the middle of diamond(s) either side ... matching D yellow gold wedding ring for wife & husband ... garnet is Emma's birthstone as is it mine too ... her hair was sort of up / down with curls over her shoulders ... unblemished pale skin ... didn't see her shoes as length of wedding dress perfect :womanvery-happy::manvery-happy: & me ecstatic LOL

Alex in a 3-piece best wool M&S flecked grey uncreased suit, white shirt & garnet coloured satin tie

3 colours of grey wool thread in the cloth ... bought 'off the rail' in Leeds city centre premiere store new glass Trinity Centre ... shiny black lace up shoes

If I'm over-posting re: the kids wedding etc please please with someone notify me, thank you

Thank you all for 'putting up with me posting about my son & new daughter-in-law' ... it's MAGIC being a Mother of the Groom Cat

NB: once had a nick-name of R2D2 c/o my brother-in-law ... he had done an R2D2 Airfix model & painted it of the droid / drone? ... I use the phrase above  ^  ^  ^  'hardware of the drone (droid) as a joke against myself ... if only viridis would 'fancy-up' my photo ... I'm a good at creeping / crawling & will pay cash *smirks*... you know I'm a big Star Wars fan ... hand on heart I'm not playing 'Mind Games' ... although I can, usually when very unwell with the Bi-Polar (I have opened up before on the forum about having mental health issues) = enough said, thank you

Problem is, there's only so much you can do to a 2 megapixel photo that Facebook has compressed to smithereens.
