The Spanish Plume (Weather)

Just for a bit of fun I thought I would bring some good news.

According to this report, the UK is about to see a weather phenomenon called the Spanish Plume which will bring temperatures up to 30c here. Warm air from Africa is pushed up from the Iberian peninsula towards the UK

Piers Corbyn, forecaster for WeatherAction, said "from Wednesday onwards we are now looking at a period of very warm and at times hot and dry weather with the possibility of heatwave conditions building.

I have highlighted Wednesday ...as that's the day I fly to Spain

So whilst you lot are 'basking in a heatwave'......I will probably get the 'Rain in Spain falling mainly on the Plain'...

I couldn't possibly encourage that.......but as it's a rare sighting in the UK...a bit like an eclipse...then yes maybe folk should just be given the day off....

Well you are getting the heat and sun from us. It's been 25c here today. Sounds good, but dull cloudy and humid...so make the most of tomorrow.......after that it will be gone....

Forecast is for all week here with temps peaking tomorrow but still high 20's for the rest of the week.
