The Spanish Plume (Weather)

Just for a bit of fun I thought I would bring some good news.

According to this report, the UK is about to see a weather phenomenon called the Spanish Plume which will bring temperatures up to 30c here. Warm air from Africa is pushed up from the Iberian peninsula towards the UK

Piers Corbyn, forecaster for WeatherAction, said "from Wednesday onwards we are now looking at a period of very warm and at times hot and dry weather with the possibility of heatwave conditions building.

I have highlighted Wednesday ...as that's the day I fly to Spain

So whilst you lot are 'basking in a heatwave'......I will probably get the 'Rain in Spain falling mainly on the Plain'...

BBC weather forecast for next Wednesday is actually cooler than it is now, then maybe up to around 25 next weekend.

I usually find I get the best forecast by looking out the window

...and you think that's what they don't do? Long range forecasts are dependent on structures blocking their view....

It always astounds me that with all the technology they have they still get it wrong.
