The Spanish Plume (Weather)

Just for a bit of fun I thought I would bring some good news.

According to this report, the UK is about to see a weather phenomenon called the Spanish Plume which will bring temperatures up to 30c here. Warm air from Africa is pushed up from the Iberian peninsula towards the UK

Piers Corbyn, forecaster for WeatherAction, said "from Wednesday onwards we are now looking at a period of very warm and at times hot and dry weather with the possibility of heatwave conditions building.

I have highlighted Wednesday ...as that's the day I fly to Spain

So whilst you lot are 'basking in a heatwave'......I will probably get the 'Rain in Spain falling mainly on the Plain'...

Ooh my tomatoes will enjoy a heat wave, they're woefully lacking compared to Arthur's next door (must ask how he gets so many huge toms), mind u his will also bloom.... Darn it, he's won no matter what I do 😤

It has been raining here since 4am......only just stopped ....but more to come.

If you believe in 'old wives tales' it's St Swithins day on Friday July 15th. Better hope this Spanish plume has arrived by then
