If they were to ever go into general use they'd have to be able to at least do the current city speed limit of 30 mph. I think it will be a very long time before they were able to develop one that would do 70 mph for motorway driving.

Not so far off. There are cars today that can stay in lanes and have active cruise control and will do upwards of 70mph.

I still think it will be at least ten years before we see any major changes. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for it. It will bring mobility to a lot of people who are now not able to get around.

Driverless vehicles are also already used in warehouse and industrial locations.

If a robot can be programmed to spray a car perfectly then anything is possible.

Bit late to the party on this one. Not entirely convinced, what happens when you get the computer circle which means the computer doesn't know what to do at 70mph on a motorway?

Recently I was walking the dog and an electric car came up behind me. It was silent. That freaked me out enough as it was.
