I have received a text from O2 asking me to update my billing details via a link. Is this genuine?

If your billing details don't need updating then It could be a scam.

 

Do not open it or click on any links

Forward the text to 7726  free of charge

Check in My O2 first. www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Never click any link sent to you.. go directly to the website and check there! We've seen a lot of these lately & as far as I can remember they've all been scams!

Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forwrd the scam text to 7726 - It's free.
