Tech News : Want to avoid second helpings? Electric shock bracelet promises to help

Headline : Want to avoid second helpings? Electric shock bracelet promises to help.

Excerpt from the Link "An American company has produced a wristband that aims to instill good habits in people – by giving them an electric shock when they stray.
The Pavlok is worn like a FitBit bracelet, and can be activated manually or automatically through an app. Inspired by Pavlov's theory – who trained his dogs to expect food every time a bell was rang – the app wearer is supposed to learn to avoid certain behaviour, or else an electric shock will be sent out from the band."

My thoughts :

I certainly don't think I'd want one of these. I'll stick to good old common sense and abstinence:)

Its not even that. its a gadget encouraging people to rely on that... rather than use their own common sense and will power
