This month we've had a lot of random (but all good) threads - such as what Star Wars character are you, what Friends character are you, what animal fits your personality, even one about shoe size, so here's the next one........

tattoos slight_smile

Have you got any tattoos or are you completely against them?

Each to their own - I don't necessarily mind if someone has tattoos or not - it's their body - - but I have to admit it would personally be put me off if it was someone who went OTT and had them all over their face.

I have 13 tattoos in total - some are quite small and a lot of them are hidden most of the time (as I don't go out in a vest top and shorts everyday), apart from my bracelet ones.

Mine are mostly out of sight.  The only reason I have tattoos on my wrists (one bracelet on each one) as I don't wear watches or anything on my wrists and I thought they always looked bare.  They're not too in-your-face and I've always liked them slight_smile

I like them as they are simple.  I'd never get anything OTT.  I think sleeves look good on some people but not others.  Sometimes they look good on paper but when they are tattooed on you they look very different.

I like some tattoos where it's a little symbol behind the ear, such as a music note, but as with everything, it doesn't suit everyone.

I probably seem like a bit of a hypocrit here but too many people jump into decisions to get tattoos and they regret them either right away or a few years later.  There is one tattoo that I regret (an ex's name) and obviously I had to get rid of it but couldn't afford laser so I had to pay to get it covered, which hurt like hell (but less than my ex emotionally hurt me) and it had to be all black to cover the black letters.  Due to the letter font, it was awkward to cover and so the stars that cover it are slightly out of shape to be able to cover it all.  I was tempted just to get a black box tattooed on my back (literally just a square box) as it does look a bit hideous right now.  Maybe I'll get it lasered in the future I don't know.
