Just seen it and shocked...she was only 45...

She had a brain tumour... diagnosed last year....

Very sad...

"Anyway, sad news just in about a friend of mine that I met with many times.
Tara Palmer-Tompkinson has sadly passed away at the age of 45. I don't know the circumstances as yet but she was a joy to be with, a wicked sense of humour but sometimes high on alcohol or other recreational drugs. Not everyone's cup of tea but she was a delightful person. I will miss her RIP Tara "

Finally logged on this morning. So sad even though she had been a little frail over the last few years it was an awful shock. RIP Princess.

I didn't know her but I did meet her once. I thought she was fantastic and had a wicked sense of humour. So sorry to hear about her death.

To be honest initially I never liked her at all....then she did I'm a Celebrity Get me out of Here...and I realised she took great delight in taking the mickey out of herself. She was also very open about her personal demons and I admired her honesty.

She changed my opinion of her...she was wacky and off the wall....

Problem is, some people could never see beyond the IT girl image...
