Yes well done to EVERYONE who participated and to @Mi-Amigo for giving his time to organise and to set the quiz.

To say I was surprised at being a joint winner of this week's Quiz would be putting it mildly. And, if I'm honest, I truly don't know why I was a joint winner, sorry.
As for next week's Quiz, I don't watch the Olympics, so it's highly unlikely I'll be able to answer questions on the subject. But that's just me, everyone else I'm sure will have no problem with the questions.
Thank you for your comments @Glory1 .
You will have seen my reply to @Cleoriff `s suggestion about pming answers.
As to why you were joint winner, it is because - in Q1 you got credit [agreeing with @Cleoriff ]; in Q2 you gave correct answer and got credit for additional info [agreeing with @Cleoriff ]; in Q3 you not only gave correct answer [agreeing with @Cleoriff ] but also got credit for giving additional info.
Most members know I have very little knowledge or interest in sport, so no-one should worry about the next Thursday Quiz on the Olympics.
The questions should be fun, might even cause a few "What the ???" moments, and no doubt will see some of the humourous comments from our regulars. So I do hope that everyone will still join in and have a go.

It's a quiz first and not a competition. Light hearted and fun and gets people joining in. Introduce a quiz via PM and like I said, I won't be participating as the whole idea is to try and encourage people to join in and so what, someone answers first, I don't see a problem. Elaborate if necessary, come up with an amusing post or simply enjoy the banter. That's my tuppence anyways. ...
Thank you @jonsie
I share the same feelings.
I`d like to thank all of you for your kind words about me running the Thursday Quiz and will do my best to try nad keep it fun.
