It's that time of year again....Some love it and others hate it.... Dance

However, BBC have announced the first 'celebrity' to join the line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

It's Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays (Frankie Bridge from the same group appeared in 2014)

Mollie King....

To be honest if Gemma wasn't going to win (which she wouldn't) Joe was my second choice. I think the judges gushing all over Alex and Debbie probably put peoples backs up...Add to that Joe had the whole of Scotland voting for him...So well done

It also would be good to see the whole of the public vote...not just the winner...

So SCD has finished for another year with a surprise winner. It went so quickly. Onward to the Strictly Christmas Special.

I doubt that, its not in the BBC's interest to be transparent.

Now I'm  not going to bother with the Christmas special unless it is the only thing on that annoys the other two members of the family who don't want to watch it smile

Well as it was down to the public vote, there is no need to hide the full results from us.

The judges looked a bit surprised about the winner.

Overall I have to say series 15 was pretty disappointing. There were no real stand out memorable moments

By the way, Joe age 42, is the oldest person in the history of the show to win...

Oh here's the reason the BBC don't reveal the votes

"The BBC says that it will still not be releasing Strictly Come Dancing voting figures.

As a result, we don't even know which of the celebs came second, third or fourth in the competition.

The BBC puts the decision down to not wanting to "affect the way that people vote" - although why this is a concern after the series is wrapped up we're not sure"

Being a suspicious person the only reason I can see is the BBC is manipulating the voting figures in some way. There really is no other reason I can see unless someone else has a better idea.
