I find it annoying that the excuses they made for not meeting thiose targets.. existed well before the promises were made in the first place.
"Unlike other major European countries, we are severely hampered by the lack of a nationwide fixed fibre network, particularly covering rural areas, outdated planning laws, and the existing 1980’s Electronic Communications Code (ECC), which all require reform for us to be able to upgrade existing mobile sites, install new ones, and link them together,"
I also see WiFi calling was mentioned in the last paragraph.....(as the saviour to all the problems)

If I can get fibre broadband in Rural France there's no excuse for the UK !

It's a disgrace to be honest just how far we lag behind in infrastructure. Shame we can never use a £600+ device to it's full extent.
