Hi everyone!

It's that time of the month again - We are finally back with our fourth offical Community Movie Night. This time, we had a great suggestion from our very own @Mi-Amigo to do a Stephen King-themed Movie Night. Unfortunately, there are only a few Stephen King films available on the major streaming services, so we added a couple more general horror movies we thought you would like the look (or thrill) of wink

If you happened to miss our previous Community Movie Nights (e.g. our Thriller Movie Night last month) this is your time to join! As before, the choice of film is yours - We have pre-selected eight Stephen King/Horror-themed films and will let you vote three times over the next three days until we have found the winning film that we then invite you to watch with us on Friday night at 8pm! 🍿

Of course we won't be able to sit together in front of the screen but that doesn't stop us - Right after voting has finished, we will create a special movie night thread here on the community where everyone can discuss the in's and out's and who's and what's whilst watching. I actually am becoming more resilient with every movie night, so hopefully this one won't scare me to death upside_down

To explain it a bit more in detail: We have created a bracket that features eight movies to start with. Today you will be able to vote between two movies each and select your favourite four of the bunch in the comment section. Tomorrow we will then continue the voting between everyone's favourite four, and then again the day after tomorrow between your favourite two. The winning movie will then be the star of our movie night on Friday!

Sounds good? Get your microwave popcorn on the ready - set - vote! 🍿🍿🍿

Yes I realise that @TheresaV  I just didn't want anyone to think I was being 'snidey' if my choice didn't win....thats why I thought it was important to explain the set up in our house. rofl

I did explain what was going on when this started and all he said was, Fine, but I hope it's not that Tall Grass again' rofl

YES !!! PET SEMATARY Bouncy

I honestly didn`t vote for it - or want it to be the winner - to make you suffer @TheresaV but because it should be a really good [but scarey] movie... [if 1986 version is anything to go by]

Thanks everyone who voted for it... Bow

Really looking forward to tonight

Get ready....

Delighted @TheresaV . I feel your fear as I am just the same. I watched the 1986 version and that was hellishly frightening...will the 2019 version be as bad? Who knows?

My cushions and Valium are ready.  I'm also hoping neither of my cats come to be stroked...joyrofl

Don't worry @Mi-Amigo, I think In The Tall Grass would have scared me as well joy It's a horror movie night after all isn't it upside_down

But unlike @Cleoriff , I don't even have a cat to keep me company when I am screaming into my cushions sweat_smile How am I gonna survive this???

Believe me @TheresaV you do NOT want a cat near when watching this film rofl

Out of interest, they trained real cats for the remake of the film.  (The one in the red circle before he had his makeover for the main picture)
