Meh or yay?

I watched the short trailer and don't know what to make of it. The last Jedi was dissapointing to me so I hope they came up with something to make up for that faux pas.

The whole new sequel trilogy so far has been naff. Killed off Han in VII then only 30 seconds of Luke Skywalker at the end & no lines. Hardly any Luke Skywalker in VIII & making him almost a bad guy. Will be interesting to see how they approach IX with no Carrie Fisher R.I.P. best thing from the new Disney owned Star Wars franchise is Rogue One

I agree. Rogue One was a great spin off. The Last Jedi had so many stupid parts.

Maybe this part will be joining the dots.

Well, palatine is back...

Let's be honest, the trailer alone was better than the last jedi

Apparently it's Rise of Skywalker. I get lost with sequels and prequels.

Well if palpatine is back for certain then it’s extremely likely that Vader will be too in some form whether Christensen or Daniel Naprous who wore the suit in Rogue One

The only problem I have with that is, Vader dies in Return of the Jedi and we presume the emporer as well as he was thrown down into the core of the death star.

Unless there is still some sort of force energy kicking around.

I would guess that he (Palpatine) survived somehow, or has become a Force ghost like Luke/Yoda/Obi Wan/etc.
Can't see how Vader survived - he was cremated in RotJ (I think?) so not really an option...
