Hi there!

Following this thread ... I wanted to ask if you guys use the app Spotify to listen or to download music? If you do, would you recommend it?

Hi

I've looked at the app but decided against using it.

I only have 2gb of data use per month so wouldn't stream although I'm aware of the Offline mode.

I either use my own playlists from youtube and I keep music in my DropBox.

Edit : forgit to say I didn't like the adds in the free option,  and am not wanting to pay £10 a month.

I would have no use for it as my 3gb music is stored on the sd card and in Drive and Dropbox.

I probably only listen to music a couple of hours a day whist travelling or in a bar so I have plenty to go at. I have no real like of modern music and I'm happy with the old 60s, 70s and 80s stuff with the odd artists from more recent times.

Yep, Spotify Premium user here - I wouldn't be without it.
If you're a Muso it's a must have app & service

I'd absolutely recommend it, especially premium. All the music you could want without having to wait for downloads for just £10/mo (although as a student you get 50% off so I may be slightly biased), what's not to like? I really like the top lists and browsing, you find all sorts of interesting new music. If you're worried about your data allowance you can download playlists over wifi to playback whenever, you can even sync across multiple devices.

I'm old school...I like my own music and best of all it's free. If it ticks your music needs then it's not to be knocked, it's just not for me

It is interesting how the individual micro manages their music wether it be an app or like me iTunes and playlists.
