or a song about the weather - such as a song about sunshine or a heatwave

or a song about holidays - such as a song about a destination or a journey

or a song about an activity - such as sunbathing, or surfing, or walking in fresh air

or a fun record released in the summer

No matter the reason, why not share the songs that make you think of summer with us on the Communty

Absolutely loving this Summer playlist that is coming together, thanks for sharing everyone, I had not heard all these song before so I appreciate you suggesting them.

My addition has to be 10CC - Dreadlock Holiday because it reminds me so much of my Dad during summer, not only did he play this song on full blast but would also sing it watching cricket. For me it conjures up a summer vibe because of its beat and warm feels it puts in me, hope you all like it too.

School's Out For Summer'

Shock Rock Godfather' Alice Cooper and his mad bad band performing this always makes me think of summer.

We saw him live at the NEC and he was just brilliant.

A blast from the past.....

Not everyone's cup of tea but I was a huge fan of Cream back in the day. This, as well as being a fan of many other bands from that era, it was a special time.

Saw Cream in Perth City Hall in Aug 1967 (can't believe it's 55 years ago)

Sad to think there's only Eric Clapton surviving now.

We loved Cream. Saw them in Coventry Theatre round about the same time. There were other groups with them ie, Marmalade, The Herd, Sparks .etc.
