Should I pay off my £181 device plan or put the money towards a ROG Ally?

Decisions, decisions.

Ideally I need to pay off my device plan to get a new phone or get shot of O2's annoying non UK call centre and go with EE for a new phone, but I want a ROG Ally when they come out in October, or get one for Christmas.

What do you think guys? I can't really afford both.

Pay off o2 and get rid, if you are that unhappy.. and looks at the likes of Spusu or Mozillion or who have UK based Customer Support or go with BT ..

Just becareful as EE's network in Sheffield can be worse than o2's in some parts ...

I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

I wouldn't go with BT, I'm in an ongoing battle with them at the moment because they keep charging me £83 for TNT Sports which I cancelled last year because WWE went on Netflix in January, I gave them the required 30 days notice and everything but they've been after me all year for this 83 quid.

Personally I would pay off the phone and move provider

Speaking about customer service, I've just had to ring AO Online with a query. What an absolute joy to speak to a young girl in the UK who knows what customer service is all about.

Brilliant!

You do realise that BT own EE so maybe you need to rethink your network plans..

So you maybe better looking at other networks...

Totally support that @jonsie. We've bought a lot of things from AO. Their customer service is superb!

@madasaf1sh Isn't that true of most of the big name networks though? Tesco Mobile is basically rebranded O2, as is GiffGaff, Smarty is rebranded Three, Virgin are useless, EE were pretty good to be fair, only reason I left in 2009 was because they didn't have the phone I wanted to upgrade (Nokia 3510)

Vodafone were my first contract network, and they were ripping me off on data charges.

Although because I'm more phone savvy now, I'd go back to them if I could, either Voda or EE.

I was also with Orange and T Mobile before they merged to form EE.
