Yesterday (May 22nd) was Sherlock Holmes Day.
So I was absolutely delighted to find out Benedict Cumberbatch as Shelock will be back.
Not a series, not an episode but a 'new adventure'
Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat the writers, have stated.....:
An “intercepted transmission” between Whitehall grandee Mycroft Holmes and his consulting detective brother Sherlock hints that the British government is considering enlisting the help of members of the public in a mysterious project.
How this will happen and when, I have no idea...
I don't care. If he is back, I am more than excited *The Game Is On* (as per my signature)

Yes I read something about this @Cleoriff and am as excited as you. Love the series and Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock. I believe the talk was for spring next year but whether that was a guestimate or fact I've no idea. Hope it's a lot sooner.

Love the show, I even went to the first Sherlock Convention (Sherlocked) on the first year it ran and it was great! Super excited about this, I really wonder what it's going to be ... Some kind of event? An online investigation-style game/clue hunt?

I thought Sherlock was not bad actually, quite enjoyable..
Still have yet to watch the latest series as Netflix doesn't run it yet.
