Watched all his YouTube videos and read the letter.
Not looking good for Samsung...

I can sympathise with Samsung to a point, as the video should not have been published unless they refused to investigate and arrange a replacement.
There's a lot of opportunity for fraud as well and not everyone who complains is a hard done by consumer.

I think Samsung should handle it better instead of trying to silence customers

Agreed, but there is nothing in that article to say whether the video appeared before or after they were contacted, so we don't know the full story.

Apparently Samsung wanted proof, so the guy made the video, and after that Samsung offered him a replacement but only if he removes the video

I agree with Bambino, we are only getting one side of the story here.
And if Samsung wanted proof why not just provide it? Why post it on Youtube? Surely he couldn't be after his 5 minutes of fame!

I can see why they wanted it removed. There's a bit in the video where its claimed that they've done their research and have found apartment buildings burning down because of it. That is unsubstatiated in this video and at the point of libel in my eyes. Otherwise I think they've been a bit rash in uploading the video first before allowing the process to take place.
Sadly, I'm beginning to think that the internet these day is becoming a race to uncover a scam where there is none.
