The good news is that Samsung are producing another Google handset based on the Nexus platform. A general range of improvements rumoured are a 8 Megapixel back and 1.9 Megapixel front camera.
It will now include SD storage capability, SuperAMOLED HD display and more importantly it's a SIM-free developer model. So need to wait on network modifications to the actual phone itself. Processor wise it's still a dual-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 although this shouldn't an issue to the general user.
The OS of choice will of course be Jellybean 4.1.1 which essentially should be ported from the current Nexus version. I was wanting to get the Nexus again although I couldn't see it for sale although I think will wait for this now. Plan B would be to get a Nexus 7 which whilst isn't a phone is more powerful and has a large display.
