Thanks for the latest information on roaming charges @Bambino.
It's all very well the mobile operators, including O2, saying they've no plans to reintroduce roaming charges but being the cynic I am, I don't necessarily believe them. It'll only take one to reintroduce roaming charges, for them all to jump on the bandwagon!
I know customers will be far from happy if they are reintroduced, that's a given. So mobile operators will think twice before any charges are introduced.
As I no longer travel out of the UK, I won't be affected if O2 decide to revert to charging customers for using their phones while roaming. But I feel for customers who travel in Europe for work and holidays, if roaming charges are reintroduced.
It's now a wait and see what happens next in the Brexit saga. At least we're safe till 31st December 2020.

Of the four major networks giving statements... guess who 'waffled on' longer than anyone?
As it took O2 just that bit longer to implement the June 2017 legislation. I'm sure they will find some loophole to charge it's customers.
The current system is so complicated people need a degree to work it out!
