Re-Make of RoBoCop in the pipeline.

Anonymous
Not applicable

I remember when the original film was released in 1987 and enjoyed it.

The sequels and Tv Mini-Series spin offs were not so good !

Now a re-make is in the pipeline so lets see if this one one of those remakes that lives up to the original.

Anyone else have an example of a good movie / Tv Show spolied by a re-make ?

Imbd Link for RoboCop 2014.

Its strange when you watch it though, as it feels like a show that's been going on for years and years.

It was repeated relentlessly, I think that's why people think there were more episodes made. slight_smile

"Was" repeated? It still is mate, on UK Gold every night 7 nights a week.

Under normal circumstances I hate repeats, but when a show is as good as Fawlty Towers, they can repeat it on rotation, lol.

Sky are completely bereft of ideas on programming. Same programmes day in, day out 24//7/52/365. No need for a TV schedule these days, just an endless loop of repeats! There...just talked myself into getting rid!

Totally agree.

After my offer finished and having Sky for nearly 25 years, enough was enough.

I decided it was money for old rope.

Now if I fancy watching a programme that was on Sky I obtain it elsewhere.

I just pass the time by going up one channel at a time trying to find something of interest or haven't seen before reverting to the radio! Not sure how to fill the extra time that would be available to me.:smileytongue: Maybe knittingSmiley Frustrated

Have you thought of getting a Freesat PVR box and connecting it to your dish?

A bit of outlay to start with but free tv forever after that.

Plus if you're going to spend six months away each year you could maybe save some money.

Um, BoB, obtaining TV shows "elsewhere" would be ILLEGAL.

Obtaining from elsewhere is not always illegal Richard.

Free to air and free sat are not illegal.

Do you have Freesat BoB? I'm with Sky at the moment but may make the transition. My dad has Apple Tv which isnt bad but it's more of a rental service than actual channels.
